We welcome visitors to the studio by appointment as we do not keep set hours and prefer you do not have a wasted journey. Please do not hesitate to get in touch by telephone or e-mail if you would like to visit Nick and the looms. The kettle is always on.
When driving to the studio the turning into the Mill can sometimes be tricky to spot. When approaching from Stroud you will pass the Parish sign for Thrupp on your left and then a detached house on the right with ‘gothic’ windows. The turn is on your right after this building. When coming from the Cirencester direction the turn will be on your left after passing the Autocare garage. There is an enamel plate reading Stafford Mill on the left as you drive down the slope. You will find 16A opposite the tall stone chimney of the foundry.
Please note that if you are using satnav this will most likely take you to Griffin Mill which is the next mill along the valley towards Cirencester as both mills share the same postcode.
